Since the upgrade, it doesn't appear that you can sort results by events - is this a bug or a loss in functionality from the previous version?
The ability to sort event scores is coming. This feature was removed while in transition to MSO 2.0. Please look for this feature in the next week or so.

I used to be able to look up individual gymnasts but I am now totally flustered. Please fix this soon. This had been a great website.
In the past, you could sort within a meet by gymnast, and pull up that gymnast's history...is this no longer available with the new version?
Come on now. . . The MSO 2 is not ready to be published. There are 10 events I counted that no longer have scores displayed, individual searches are non-existent, no 'next' for multiple page listings. Don't get me wrong, what you are doing here is honorable and appreciated but are you not suppose to test first before deployment. The previous system was at-least functional. After over a week of troubleshooting and debugging, you may need to consider reverting back to the previous system and then continue work on this MSO 2.

I'd like to address your concerns without considering a roll back to the previous version. I can appreciate the frustration you are feeling, however I will be fixing any and all, plus improving existing a developing new features for the site. This is a very exciting time, as the new MSO 2.0 technology really puts us in the drivers seat. So, submit to me your wishes!!

How do I get to the next page of State Results for Ca. 50 - ?
This is a little related to an earlier inquiry about paging. Paging is not yet implented, I will develop this in the next week or so (less than 2 weeks). In the meantime, you can avoid the need to page through results by choosing a session and and a level.

Oh, and what did you mean that you can't search for anything? Is there a particular search feature from the previous version which you were use to?
The ability to click on a gymnasts name from results and bring up a list of all related gymnastic scores is now fixed. I hope this helps!
Also, do you know which results are missing? You said about 10 or so. When I moved the data to MSO 2.0, I was very confident that I moved all the data, with the exception of one user who needed to upload his team scores after the individual results were moved to the new system. He was able to upload these a couple of days later into the new system.

The system has no record of my daughter..via,search feature.When you try to search, it keeps asking "Within Alabama meet" The calendar only lets you search for year and State. Before, I could bring up a specific month in a season. Also,I could click on results, to bring up that meet(in calendar). You can no longer access results from the calendar section. I can't get past page one on results. You can't click on the drop down menus(session...etc). I have no access to any meets, except the current(active)meets. I really loved the old version, never any problems, easy to use! Please, go back!!!!!
The "within Alabama meet" bug has been resolved. You can now search for your gymnast within the actively selected meet.
Seems like there might have been a better time to do this. NorCal has their big level 5 state this weekend and it is so frustrating dealing with the many issues that MSO is having. In general, I love this website and I am sure the update will be great, it is just a little frustrating in the interim!
I've added back the ability to search by month on the calendar.
The best way to find the Norcal Level 5 scores is to click on the tab Meet Results. The content "Active Meets" should then be visible. Your scores, currently, are the first in the list there. Sorry for my poor timing! I am working diligently to solve any and all issues posted here. So keep them coming!
Is this new upgrade debugged? If not, it would appear to be a catastrophic improvement. Because of this new format, I can't look up results older than one month, can't display an individual's results, or look at all of the results from a meet at one time (it only displays the top 50 results). What was the motivation for this change? The site appeared to work just fine before.

Will we be able to access meet results from the calendar section? Before, the meets(from calendar) had the link for results to click on. This was a nice feature and a fast way to get to previous meets, even from years ago. THANKS!
You can't get to the next page. Please fix this asap. This new system is terrible.
On the old system I was able to use "printer friendly" to print out sessions. Will this feature be back?
Also I would love to get the Arizona 5/6 state meet scores. The host gym doesn't have a website to post their scores on. Will you be posting the scores for this meet?

HELP! You need to fix your system! The State scores for California Level 4 have the lowest score first and then the highest after it. You only have one page loaded, the first 50. Please fix this ASAP - we can't look up any scores or indiviual gymnasts.
The design of this new site is terrible. I have been pulling my hair out trying to locate my gymnast, and when I finally find her (which takes FOREVER), I click the mouse over her name and her results disappear completely. What was wrong with the previous version? It was much more user friendly. If you aren't going to go back to the original version, can you at least include instructions on to maneuver around the site?

When you are trying to locate a gymnast, is it possible to have a search functionality by first and/or last name? The way this site seems to work is ONLY if you have first and last name, and only if you have the absolute correct spelling of the gymnast name. For example, if you enter Mackenzie in the search field, the gymnasts you get are all gymnasts with the first name Mackenzie, not the last name. Also, if you don't have the correct spelling, their name won't pop up either....another example....Madeline, Madelyn, Madelyne....unless you spell things EXACTLY, you won't find who you are looking for. The old version allowed you to search by first OR last name. Also, how about a search by Gym Name?

I guess I didn't realize how much I used MSO and now that it's not functioning and updating current reults, it' a bit frustrating now to be able to look things up. I used to be able to search a last name and find all of my kids listed and now it seems I must put in their first and last name. I rather liked just putting in last name. I don't see any of the AZ state meet updates from the last 2 weeks. Usually it's no more than a day and we see results. hrumph!!!!! I'm suprised that this was made "live" so soon with so many bugs... here's to hoping it's all functioning 100% sooner than later.....
is there a time frame as to when the site will be back to the way it used to be? did I miss something listed a few weeks back saying this was going to be happening? Had I known ahead of time, I might not be so frustrated and more prepaired for bugs. I said maybe Did this work on the test side and then once it went live it didn't work i can't imagine that it wouldn't have been tested to the hilt before going live that would just be stupid. nobody puts out a full blown site without testing it extensivly first because there are always qwirky little bugs that you find. I wish there was another place but it seems this is the only place that lists the state meets. Even the coaches and gyms rely on this service, they might think twice now especially during state season in so many states. i know we're not the only one.
It's incredible that this upgrade was rolled out - yesterday I could pull up a meet, today I can't pull up the same one. One thing gets fixed and then something else is lost. This was not the time of year to do an upgrade, given all the State Champiionships being conducted.
If you are listing a bug or issue, please site examples, IE., Yesterday I could see UT State level 5 Championships, Today I can not. It is difficult to address issues listed here without specific examples. With that said, we are focused on moving forward and improving our systems. Sorry again, but we are on a path of better software!
True, you have to search for gymnast by first and last name, well not true entirely: you can search by just first name -or- by first and last name. The name field takes partial names so you can query "sa pa" and you'll match: "Sara Parker, Savanah Piper, Sam Sneed" etc.. It is true that you can not search for last name only, but I can fix that!
It is up to the AZ gyms to post their scores. In regards to receiving scores, MSO if fully functional, so there is no system problem here. Please encourage those clubs to publish their scores.
Will the scores from the AZ 5/6 State meet post?
Please comment on when the "PRINTER FRIENDLY" option will be back on. I can hardly read the orange type and it is very small. Thanks so much and please fix it soon.
So far I have been very disappointed with the upgrade. I had a very difficult time finding all of the scores for the level 4 state meet. When I pull down "session", it doesn't let me pick a session, the box just disappears. I loved the old website I hope that you fix these problems so that it can be the great resource that it was.
I was looking up past meets and don't seem to be able to get any farther than the 1st 50. I hope this problem is not permanent.
Boy, I am very disappointed in this site now. Bugs galore! I used to run to the site to check things out, but not anymore. Go back to the old version until you fix all the terrible problems. I say the site has become unusable. I won't be coming back anytime soon.
You are missing a gymnast from level 4 state CA meet, Catherine Strutz, 4Platinum session 8, from SCEGA. She is 12 and was the only one in her age group of the session. She scored a 38.45,and had a beautiful meet, but she isn't in the results. please fix!!

it's extremly annoying to mouse over the banners and have it open up and take over the screen. We're using IE7 and the same thing has happened in Firefox. And when I click on Search Athlete, I have to move the mouse over to remove that and then click w/in the search box and then type in the full name. I used to be able to type in just the last name. :( dissappointed with this new version. It's probaly great, just not YET.
I can't pull up individuals anymore. This site used to be great but no more. What a dissapointment. Go back to the old ways. There was nothing wrong with it. I'm so dissapointed
How can I turn to the next page. Only the top scores are showing up and there is no "next" or "previous" link to press?
Currently, there is no page navigation. To see more scores, please select a session, then select an age division.

You can still pull up individual results. When you are viewing results for a meet, just click on the gymnasts name. You can also search for individual gymnasts; this feature is only available from the results pages.
Ok, I've added a 1/2 second delay to each of the top banners on display (plus a nice dropdown effect). I will look further into the problem with the menu item not dissapearing (the Find Athlete menu item).

I have fixed the find athlete issue, so now when clicking on search athlete, or search event, the menu item doesn't stick open any longer. Plus, added a little graphic indicating that the menu item across the top, is indeed a menu item.

Can you please:) fix the calendar section and add a link for results? When I try to search under the "Find event" link, it says "Unknown error" when I enter a date. The calendar section, really doesn't accomplish anything because you can't click on the event to see results(like before). So, currently, there is no way to look at past meets. Thanks for all the help:)

The ability to navigate the results is in place. You can now navigate to the next page, previous page.

You can now access results from the calendar page. There is a new option for each event called "Lookup Results". This dynamically searches for results for the event and provides you with a list of results for the event to click on.

Are we still having issues with searching for athletes? This issue has been resolved. If there is another aspect of searching for individual athletes, do share. I have some great ideas myself, inlcuding the ability to expand athlete information dynamically on the results page, and then the possiblity of mergin previous athlete results in current results for comparisons.

The event and meet registration has changed this is true, and additional instructions are necessary to explain what is different. The good news: all is working. When you register and activate your event, you then can edit your event details and add and create meet details as necessary for this event. Your meetid is available onscreen and your password is the same password as your events. I will be updating these pages very quicly to make these steps more apparent. Did the AZ STate 5/6 State meet scores ever get posted? Been cking for a week with no results?
We have not received these scores yet. The host club has been in contact with us, and have the information they need to publish the results.

In the "EVENT MAP" feature, the meet City does not appear to be reaching Google Maps creating errors in Google Maps. Our meet (Event 1230) is in California ("CA") but Google Maps shows it to be in Ontario, Canada.
I emailed the host gym regarding the AZ State 5/6 Meet and they indicated they posted the scores with you right after the meet. They indicated they have been in contact with you and they maintain you have the results. I tried to access from the event and by checking my child's individul results and still cannot pull the scores up? Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong...several other parents from our gym have tried unsuccessfully as well!!! Thanks for your help!!!

I was wondering if you ever really respond to these message's. I was going to complain, but I see most of my points are already covered. We need to be able to look up individuals. If that is not going to happen. I am going to start my own webpage. Nothing like a little competition. From your new format it shouldn't be that hard to beat. How long does it take to transition as you call it.

still don't see the level 4 or the 5/6 arizona state meet results. I know they have been uploaded. Aggrivating to say the least. How much longer do we have to wait, it's been almost a month. The AZ Level 4 meet was on the 10/11 of Nov. and the 5/6 a week later. I don't ever remember it taking longer than 4-7 days for updated information. Actually 4 days was the max, I am just being nice. I don't know why at this point I even keep checking back. Please I beg you, get thhis working or I'll just tell our coaches not to use this service.

Who or why have the Arizona Level 4 State Championship scores not been added to the MSO site?
I really wish someone would make a full and comprehensive statement regarding everything going on with the site addressing all the questions that have been repeatedly asked. We keep asking the same things over and over with no answer. Have the host gyms of the AZ state meets been contacted directly to see if they have uploaded their scores? Maybe they need to reupload them since the changeover may have messed something up. Sounds to me like a lot of Arizona (and other) people check this site frequently for scores and information regarding meets. Fortunatly/Unfortunatly (depending on who you are asking) this is the only comprehensive site of it's kind. A monopoly so to speak. So what can we do? Tell us what we CAN do, how long to wait, what to expect. I know this is a free site. I don't know if you charge for advertising or not. Give us some insight as to if these issues are being taken care of. Thanks

Which browser is preferred for accessing MSO?
Firefox doesn't really work at all. Safari works better but when printing, the text prints so small that I can barely read it.
There used to be a "priint icon" but is no longer there.

When you choose an age group for a Level; let's say Junor A you get all Junior A's from that session regardless whether they are level 7's or 9's. I refer to the Leading Edge, WA meet in mid november. So many problems with this so called upgrade and very fun responses from the webmasters to our concerns.. What used to be a very good and reliable website has been destroyed and is not worth going to anymore. :-(

I have been a huge fan of this service for a few years now...I am a coach. I feel that the "upgrade" did not do justice to this site..the old way seemed more user-friendly and just a lot easier to find info.
You mentioned that Florida is one of the top states for Gymnastics right now. Well, look out for Tampa Bay Turners in 2008!
The AZ Level 4 Gymnasts would definitely like to look at their scores. How frustrating for these young girls not to be able to look at the results of their hard work. If you are uncertain why there is a problem with the software, post the difficutly and I am certain you will receive feedback from software & computer techs who might lead you in a good direction. Please be more resourceful with making this information available. Thank YOU!

Is the sort function within an event (by apparatus) going to be re-implemented? This question was previously posed with no response. Also, it would be helpful to have the ability to sort within an individual's history by date or AA score.
Are new questions not being addressed? When will all the bugs be worked out? As one example, the Level 4 SoCal State Championships still doesn't pull up since the upgrade process began. Also, the print function still doesn't appear, and the ability to sort within an individual or meet still isn't available. When will the transition be COMPLETE?
The results shown for the December test event appear to be old scores from some other year (although the date is right). Many of the girls on the results sheet are now in collge

Can't wait til MSO is totally completed but have 1 question on correct spelling of gynast names. Who can correct a mispelling & how should you request this? Also some gym names are spelled 2 different ways on results pages-How come? Thanks for your help!

How do I report an error? You have another gymnast's name in place of my daughter's name at a meet. You have the score and the gym correct, but not the gymnast.
Now I can't get a calendar up. Also this new site is more difficult to read. How do scroll to the next page when looking at a meet? And why don't team scores come up?

At the San Diego Judges Cup in Session 1A for 13-14 year olds level 7s, a wrong name is placed in 1st place. If you check judgescup.com you will see that it is Alison Schiller that should be there and not Erika Becker. Please fix this!

The age group bug is now fixed. You can now select age group and age groups for that session are returned, same for level.
MSO 2.0 is developed in Firefox then any display bugs found in Internet Explorer get resolved. If you find specific issues with your ability to read MSO, please share!

How does a parent get an error corrected on MSO? My daughter's scores for '08 SD Judges Cup meet were applied to a gymnast who did not compete at that meet and no longer even attends the gym attributed to her for that event. My daughter does not even show as a participant in that event. Help!

Since Rhythmic gymnasts are part of USAG last I heard, why are their scores not posted as part of "meet scores"? They sport is every bit as demanding and exciting as the wonderful sport of artistic and should have the same attention. respectfull submitted
We used to be able to see scores during the meets. Now I can not see the scores until the day after the meet. For instance, I am still unable to view the scores from the San Diego Classic (hosted by Poway) and the meet was over yesterday. Why is this???

My daughters name from some meets is spelled wrong. How do I get this fixed?
When will the Poway Classic results be posted The event ended on 1/28/08, still no results. This event was in San Diego.
I can't seem to pull up the february calendar for Idaho. (Or any calendarfor that matter>) I'm trying to see if the Great West Gym Fest meet will be posted on MSO. please Help!

Some of the individual event scores from the Boys second prelim level 6 age 10-11 are mixed up...from Gym Oly.
I am from the Netherlands and my daughter had her competition at Woga, DAllas at level 10. When will there be a score list of all the gymnasts at that level? Someone else registered an event that I'm doing and I can't find out the ID or password to post the scores and your online help isn't working.
Why can't you list team results for each event instead of just AA? I like to be able to see hoiw teams placed on the individual events.
Also--I agree. This new "upgrade" is not nearly as user friendly. No one seems to like it.
Prinouts of results are no longer readable since the "upgrade." The print is too small to read.
This site was so good before. It is TERRIBLE now.
one of our gymnists scores were put in wrong and it took our gym off the list as gitting 2nd place in the all around.
The gym is Byers Roseville, and the gymnist was Shannon Thao. they put a 7.4
as her score for bars and it messed up her all around score and place. she got a 7.8 on bars and a 35.45 in the all around 1st place. can you fix this please? thank you.

This has been fixed, graciously by the wonderful people who scored the Judge's Cup. And I'd like to point out that it was not MSO's fault. Thanks! I think the site is fine. Most moms aren't Computer Savvy and that seems to be the problem.
For San Diego Classic Meet, you have two listings for Gabrielle Swain from Arena Gymnastics in NJ. The Level 9 Should be Gabrielle Swain, while the Level 6 should be her sister, Tatiana. Thank you.
Thank you for finally posting the San Diego Classic 2008, Level 6, age 11 group scores. What had happened? We had hoped to see the scores in real time for all levels and age groups. Our team had returned to the East Coast and more than a week had gone by before they were posted. This site has much untapped potential! Good luck getting the kinks out. 2/7/08

Alot of kids look at these scores,my childs scores were wrong and her friends said she was a liar because they were put in wrong. Please fix an error regarding the San Diego Judegs cup meet results. You report Sydney Folsom, No. 1717, Session 9A, Lvl 7, 12 yr olds scores as belonging to "Leslie Simmons." Please verify this at http://www.judgescup.com/results/2008/S9A_L7_Age_12.htm. Leslie Simmons did not compete at this meet for GymMax and is not even a level 7 gymnast. Thank you.
Is there any way to get the "Printer Friendly" option back--it is very difficult to read without it.

The host gym already has the proper information recorded and according to her coaches always has or she would not have been allowed to compete nor receive her medals. This is an MSO error as you can verify if you go to the link I provided to see there is no "leslie simmons" from that session (not even that whole meet) but rather it properly lists "Sydney Folsom" with the scores which MSO has incorrectly applied to "leslie simmons." I need MSO to fix this so Sydney gets the same benefit as all her teammates and all the other competing gymnasts from that meet who worked as hard as she did and have the ability to see their scores properly listed under their names. Right now, that is the only meet missing under her name. Please do the right thing for Sydney and fix this MSO error. Thank you.
I thought it was just me but having just returned from Chicago with 4500 gymnasts plus coaches and parents and hearing the same thing over and over, I don't feel like it's just me....Hate to sound like a party poooper, but everyone I've spoken to about this feels the same: HATE the new website! It's not intuitive, it's very cumbersome and not nearly as useful as the previous version.
This old dog is have some extreme difficulty learning all the new tricks. Please go back to the previous format. It appears the previous comments echo the current frustrations and little has been done to address them.
I am only able to insert a gymnasts first name under athlete search. The look up athlete "button" is covering up the last name.
Where is the gymnast search function? I have not been able to find this since the upgrade. Very frustrating...
My daughter competed at the IGI Gymnastics Meet in Chicago on 2/9/2008. I noticed that that gym does not post scores on your site. When I asked they replied that they don't post scores because it's too much work for such a large meet. Is there a way to add that score to my daughters list of meets? I can email you the site where the scores are posted.
Ok, you guys really need to check the scores. Because I was looking at the gymnastics scores and I looked at mine, Kiana Pincock. It says I got a 35 AA. But that was my best meet and at that meet I clearly remember that I got a 38. Another girl it says she got a 26. She's on my team and nobody on my team has ever gotten a 26. So, you really need to not lie.

still cannot look up athletes.
If you click on meet scores, then point to or click on the arrow by the search option, you will see you can search for a meet or an athlete. I have been able to find all of your team results even for the athletes that stopped competing 3 years ago. Make sure you type the name the correct way. First name first. You don't have to type the whole name. Just a few letters from the first and from the last and you results will come up. Good luck. I am finally getting used to the upgrade and liking it.

About the printer friendly option. I figured out it was a personal computer option. When I print on one of my computers, it comes out large and easy to read. My other was printing it microscopic. It had to do with the print size I had selected in my internet settings. Try adjusting yours and see what you get. I can assure you, I print from the regurlar page and it is full size, approx. 14 font size.

If you are having trouble selecting a calendar, make sure you are clicking the select calendar button. You cant just hit enter when you are on the right year and state. You have to hit the button at the end of the row.
I just wish there was someway to identify if the meet results had Boys competing or only girls. It seems there are many more Girls meets than boys and for us, parents of boys, it is hard to go thro' all the meet results one by one

If you are trying to look up athletes, you need to go to meet results then at the top point to the drop down arrow by search. You can type the first and last name in the block there. Just leave a space between and it will search as first and last. You can use a few letters from each and it will search for the person if you don't know the spelling for sure.

Since the switch it is taking MUCH longer for events to be posted. There are two events that took place this weekend that I can't even look at. This website is very disappointing to date.

The NTSB covertly funded a project whereby the auto makers were installing black boxes in four wheel drive pickup trucks in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash.
They were surprised to find in 49 of the 50 states the last words of drivers in 61.2% of fatal crashes were, "Oh, Shit!"

The Buckeye Classic Gymnastics meet had just over 1500 gymnasts competing. How come you only have just over 1000 gymnasts listed?

You can sort by gymnast. Please see the info above. It is found under meet results. Then search by gymnast.
FYI If you go to the web site for the Hard Rock, all the results are available there and can be printed if you like. They are not sortable at all however and are not organized by this site.
The scores for lights,camera and action meet were online now they are not coming up. I notice that the meet show up twice with neither show the score that were present earlier this week.
Of the 30 meets listed on the February 2008 calendar only 10 have come back and posted their scores, the site is called Meetscoresonline! Is there anyway you can shoot a reminder email out to those teams if not take them off the calendar.
We posted our scores after every session,
it is so easy to post them from ProScore

I used to be able to check the results for the 2008 Great West Gym Fest NIC Compulsory meet (hosted by Funtastics in Coeur d'Alene, Id Feb 22-24, but now it seems that there are a bunch of sessions missing. My daughter was in session N05 and only sessions N03 & N05 are available in the drop down menu. Please help!!
Why are scores correct (for my daugher) for the Novato 2008 Classic meet but her placements are wrong? She got first on all-around, but web site shows she got second.

My daughter competed the night of 3-7-08, level 5 and her name and scores are not posted. Her teammates are on there. Is the posting completed and she was overlooked? She was gymnast 3516
I'm not sure what is going on this year, but a number of event coordinators have been given incorrect passwords and are unable to post their scores. The coordinator from Diamond Elite cannot get a response from MSO as to what her password should be and so scores are still not posted. The reason MSO has been so popular is that gymnasts can get their results back so quickly. Please fix the problem! Thank you!
We have been waiting for some scores to be posted on MSO, however, the gym that hosted the meet (scats diamond elite) says they have called numerous times to get the password and no one has responded. We need the scores posted for students to show teachers proof of competition. Thanks I know it can't be easy.

Our gym was at TOP FIGHT MEET and the score have not been posted on MSO. The host gym Dimond Elite said that they are waiting for a password. Can we please get them a password so the scores can be posted. I have commented before on MSO and I have called the host site many times. I feel like we are all getting the run around. Please help. we need the score.
