Olivia excelled at sports beginning at a young age. Her youth soccer organization petitioned the league to allow her to play in the boys division so that she could continue to work with her current coaches when her age prohibited her to play co-ed. Watching the 2008 Olympic gymnastics competition and attending the Tour of Champions that followed, Olivia was ready to try her hand at the sport. Shortly after joining a local gym, her athleticism, strength and flexibility were noticed and the gym decided to train her for the TOP program with one other young gymnast. It was this gym's first attempt to sponsor athletes in this program. Olivia worked hard and was named to the 2011 National TOP Diamond Team. Thereafter Olivia started seriously honing her skills and moved to Wildfire Gymnastics. Soon after starting at the new gym Olivia was diagnosed with a condition that required major surgery on her stomach and esophagus. She was very brave during the procedure and recovery and was ready to get back to training as soon as doctors would permit her. Under her new and amazing coaching staff and through hard work, Olivia has continued to work at the sport and improve over the years. Olivia hopes to continue in the sport and eventually compete at the collegiate level. Olivia excels also in academics making the Principles Honor Roll each semester in Junior High. Olivia loves the beach, her dog Peanut, her trampoline, the Green Bay Packers and spending time with family and friends.
