My Biography

Hi! My name is Mackenzie Balter. Most people just call me "Kenzie". I am a 9 year old, level 4 Charleston Twister gymnast. I have been doing gymnastic since I was 18 months old and I have been on team since 2015. I currently hold the Level 3 SC State Champion title for beam & AA. My highest AA score in my last meet season (2017-2018) was a 37.1. I excel in bars and my favorite event is floor. Gymnastics is my world and I could live in the gym if they'd let me. I hope to become a UCLA Bruin or a Auburn Tiger one day.

My Goals
  • Place 1st AA at Level 4 state meet in 2018
  • Earn a 38 AA score or higher in level 4
  • Compete as a level 5 in 2019
  • Make Regionals at least once in my career
  • Compete as a level 10 gymnast by sophmore year of high school or sooner
  • Score a perfect 10
  • Get a full gymnastics scholarship to UCLA, Cal State or Auburn
  • Compete as a NCAA gymnast
My Accomplishments
  • Placed on the podium in every meet of level 2
  • Placed 2nd on bars at SC State meet in level 2
  • Placed 3rd AA at SC state meet in level 2
  • Placed on the podium in all but one meet in Level 3
  • SC state champion on beam in Level 3
  • SC state champion in AA in level 3
  • Scored a 37.1 AA in February 2018 as a level 3
  • Scored 36 or higher in 5 out of 6 meets in Level 3
