I was born in Los Angeles. I started doing "real" gymnastics when I was 8. Pretty late in life, but I had been doing cartwheels and handstands, and tumbling on furniture for many years. I did some recreational gymnastics here and there, but mostly focused on other sports like baseball, swimming, soccer and competitive basketball. I moved to Atlanta in 2016, and I started competing that year. I won level 8 Regionals as a level 4 gymnast, and this year, in the 2017-2018 season, I am competing as a level 6 gymnast. My best apparatus is the pommel, then floor. My mom was a gymnast growing up, and also taught gymnastics and fitness; she also helps me a lot with skills on weekends. She trains me when I'm not at World Xtreme. I've been training at World Xtreme since February 2017. I've gained a ton of skills (and strength) since working out with my awesome coaches there. In June 2018, I briefly moved to GymTech Elite to follow my coach, Stephen Holloway, but my family is moving back to Los Angeles in August 2018.
